Nestled on the piedmont of the Cantabrian Mountains is small town called Castrillo de Murcia. This sleepy hamlet comes to life during the El Colacho festival (baby-jumping festival) held for four days to celebrate Corpus Christi. The origin of this event goes back to 1620 and has garnered world-wide attention as one of the riskiest festival in the world. Its Gothic church of St. James is a beautiful place to visit.
