TOURIST ATTRACTIONS & SIGHTSEEING, PRACTICAL INFORMATION
Grandson is located in the Canton of Vaud, in the district of Jura-Nord Vaudois. There are many prehistoric stilt houses which are considered as UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites. Other popular attractions are the Grandson Castle, Church of Saint-Jean-Baptiste, the biking trail at Yverdon-les-Bains in northern Vaud and the port of Pecos which was renovated around 2007. Grandson is accessible by car or by public transport. Wines of Bonvillars from the Bonvillars vineyard and local food can be tasted at the Maison des Terroirs or tourist office.
