Famous for its vineyards and a medieval character, Meersburg lies to the southwest of Germany. It is based along Lake Constance. This town was administered as a free city from the year 1299. Popular tourist attractions here include King Dagobert I's castle, an 18th Century fortress (new castle), and the two town gates. It is a scenic little place with rustic half-timbered houses with a typical medieval city vibe.
