Kirkstone Pass is known as one of the highest mountain passes in Lake District and has an idyllic, picturesque terrain gracefully enveloping it. The pass provides a splendid, scenic view of the sparkling blue Brothers Water lake and the neighboring Troutbeck Valleys, as one approaches the quaint hamlet of Patterdale. The major attractions of this pass are Kirkstone Pass Inn and Kirkstone Quarry, both situated near the summit of the pass.
