Dom Fritzlar is an ancient Roman Catholic church and Minor Basilica in Fritzlar. Originated as a Romanesque monastery and collegiate church in 723, it is a symbolic landmark in northern Hesse region. Apart from serving as a religious site, the church is notable for its Cathedral Museum nestled in the cloister. The museum showcases paintings, German medieval artifacts, holy scriptures and items from Middle Ages, including the historic Henry Cross. A small cathedral library is also located on site.
