Owned by the Dutch Royal family until 1971, the Stadhouderlijk Hof is their former residence. This historical grandeur is a one of the biggest tourist attractions and is now converted into a four star hotel. Complete with a portrait gallery that houses some of the most amazing paintings by renowned artists like Gerard van Honthorst, Adriaen Hanneman and Louis Volders, this 18th century mansion has managed to retain its old world charm and decor. The palace has a long and rich history of the royal bloodline and you will see the nuances of it in the paintings that hang in the gallery.
