The AJ Bell Stadium, previously called the Salford City Stadium, is a state-of-the-art rugby stadium and event venue. The stadium is home to the Salford City Reds rugby league and Sale Sharks rugby union, two of the city's biggest rugby clubs. You can be sure that every time the home teams are playing, droves of fans arrive at the AJ Bell Stadium to cheer them on. The stadium also boasts private rooms and hosts small events and local functions. This stadium often dwells in the shadow of the iconic Old Trafford Stadium, Manchester United's home ground, however, it is exceptional in its own right and definitely deserves a visit.
