Lenzburg

Located in the Aargau canton of Switzerland, the modern town of Lenzburg if known for its rich historical heritage and its cultural and culinary festivals. According to archaeological excavations, settlements here date back to the Neolithic era but the village itself is believed to have originated around the 10th century. Home to a number of historical buildings and ancient ruins, it is also the location of many Swiss heritage sites such as the famous Castle Lenzburg, the Goffersberg graveyard, the town church, City hall, the Burghalde buildings the 1st Century Roman theater among others.
