A branch of the Alameda County Library system, Newark Library puts a bit of excitement into the search for information. Founded in 1983, the library is dedicated to providing unrestricted information and a healthy learning environment to the community. The library is home to an extensive collection of books that focus on a a variety of subjects from science, history and general knowledge, to literature, fiction and nonfiction. To keep up with modern times, the library also provides computers and WiFi facilities at no additional cost.
