A historical monument of sorts, the Château de la Rochepot dates back to the 13th Century. This beautiful castle is located within the La Rochepot commune of the Côte d'Or department in Burgundy. Located on the southwestern side of the Beaune town, this French castle lies on a mound of limestone. This exquisite castle was deemed redundant in the past, but was ultimately restored in the 19th Century. At present, the castle remains open to visitors.
