This was one of the leading venues when the cabaret boom started in Vienna in the 1980s. Today they still host a lot of humor shows here, presented mainly by well-known artists, but also by some newcomers. The place has a good sense for new trends and often you can see actors who have just become the nation's darlings. The atmosphere is cozy and you can have a fine dinner in the restaurant next door. The menu offers good Austrian dishes, often with specialities from various regions.
