Dating back to the 14th Century, this former monastery church underwent several changes in the 15th and 16th Centuries when the Franciscan monastery was at its peak. Franziskanerkirche Überlingen is dedicated to the Immaculate Conception of Mary. This Baroque-Gothic structure is known for its thematic, Rococo-style high altar which includes elaborate artworks and tracery. Though it is not a place of worship today, it is used for classical concerts and Christian musical programs regularly. It is also available on rent for special events.
