Linköping lies about 27 miles (43.45 kilometers) southwest of Norrköping in southern parts of Sweden. The history of the lovely city goes back to more than 700 years. Home to the beautiful Linköping Cathedral, Östergötland's capital city also includes attractions such as Cloetta Center and Friluftsmuseet Gamla Linköping, to name a few. Linköping is also quite famous for its rich cultural heritage and the volley of such experiences it offers. The Linköping University, located in southwestern parts of the Linköping, is often claimed to be one of the best educational institutes in Sweden. As such it is counted among the five largest cities in the country.
