The Leipziger Messe, also known as the Leipzig Exhibition Centre, is a massive, contemporary venue for trade fairs, conferences and other major events. Built in 1996, the complex is considered to be one of Europe's finest. Composed of five spacious exhibition halls, over 70,000 square metres (7,53,475 square feet) of uncovered space, VIP rooms, catering facilities and more, the Leipziger Messe is the ideal venue for a variety of events, especially those that call for the involvement of state-of-the-art technological support and modern facilities. While the Congress Center Leipzig (CCL) is impressive on its own, it forms a part of the Leipziger Messe and is often hired in conjunction with the exhibition halls for larger events.
