Established in 1896, Malmö Idrottsplats or Malmö IP is a stadium usually put under use for association football. Operated by the Malmo Municipality, the stadium has undergone many renovations since its establishment and currently boasts of a standing capacity of 7600 while the artificial turf measures 66 meters (217 feet) by 105 meters (344 feet). Besides the stadium, Malmö IP also features a sports hall, dugouts changing rooms, separate section for referees and a cafeteria.
