Set up on a small hillock, Mural Amphitheatre is a bustling venue for an array of events like concerts and music festivals. The renowned Space Needle observation tower provides a spectacular setting for this open-air venue centrally located in downtown area's Seattle Center. Originally constructed for the 1962 World Fair, Mural Amphitheatre remains the prime venue for summer fests and galas of Puget Sound Region. Bumbershoot, Northwest Folklife Festival and other top-ranked festivals have been organized here in the past.
