Laholms Teater is an iconic performing arts venue in the heart of the city. Constructed in the year 1913, this impressive structure was built to the designs of noted architect Per Lennart Håkansson, who is also credited with lending a unique reticent color pattern to its décor. Serving as a fine example of Art Nouveau architectural style, it has hosted noted theater personalities like Tomas Andersson Wij, Borje Ahlstedt and Gudrun Brost in the past.
