Nochtwache serves as a cozy electronic dance music venue housed at the basement of Altona's ritzy Nochtspeicher. The electronic music spot features a vaulted cellar-like setting, complete with exposed walls and an illuminated ceiling. The city's top DJs play here, enthralling crowds with their foot-tapping electronic dance numbers, apart from spinning up some other party music genres. Nochtwache also plays host to well-known electronica and pop bands and solo singers including the likes of Vince Adam, Torsten Goods, and Ben Caplan.
