St Mary's Glacier is a well known glacier located in the small town of St Mary's in the Arapaho National Forest, just a drive away from Boulder city. Situated at a height of 10,000 feet (3048 meters) above sea level, this glacier is frozen all year round. The hike up to the summit is popular among hikers looking to admire the spectacular panoramic expanse of barren land all around. Covering around 4 miles (6 kilometers) of rocky and steep land, this is not the easiest of hikes but the stunning views from the top make it worth the effort.
