A 13th century historic castle built by King Edward is an impressive fortress featuring a solitary round tower. Around 1800 workers and masons dedicatedly worked towards building this sandstone castle. This structure design was never repeated in any of the further constructions of the King. Today, the views of the castle tower are overlooked from the high rise buildings in Flint town center. The site is open for public visits without any charge.
