Started in 1956 as a small event to commemorate the success of the tomato industry and promote the business, The Bradley County Pink Tomato Festival has eventually grown to be a major food festival in Arkansas. Thousands of locals, as well as people from the neighboring areas, look forward to this weekend of family fun. From shopping and carnival-games to tomato-eating competition and the Pink Tomato golf tournament, there is something for every age group. Other fun activities such as 5k foot race, pageant shows, street dance and live music by popular bands make it a complete fun-filled summertime event.
