Robert Kreis is a Dutch comedian and pianist who rose to fame in the 1980s as one of the forefathers of the European "20s retro wave" movement. Growing up, Kreis learned how to play the piano at a young age and after graduating from high school, he would go on to serve as a steward on cruise ships and perform frequently for guests. Soon developing a characteristically satirical style, Kreis would continue playing musically-infused comedy shows and build a lasting reputation among Dutch comedians of his generation.
