Ann Arbors first and only kite festival, the GrieveWell Kite Festival is a free community event sharing the joy of the outdoors and the muse of kites! Attendees will include community members, kite enthusiasts, GrieveWell supporters and family members sharing the joy of the outdoors and the whimsy of the kites.
The kite festival is organized by GrieveWell, a nonprofit organization located in Ann Arbor, Michigan that provides community education and support to adults in grief, and those who surround them, in order to build a community that promotes healthy grieving and healing.

Fly and Remember Memorial Service hosted with Arbor Hospice from 11:30am-12:30pmGrieveWell and Arbor Hospice invite those who have lost a loved one to remember the fond memories you shared with your loved one by personalizing and flying a kite in their honor from 11:30am - 12:30pm. Arbor Hospice will provide all materials. Anyone who has experienced the loss of a loved one is welcome.
Misc:
A Frustrationless Flyer Kite can be purchased online through 11 PM on June 14. Kites available for purchase during the festival while supplies last.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets to sit on.
The Kite Festival will take place rain or shine, but please join us in wishing for blue skies and a steady breeze.
