Heavy Cream

It's fairly common to see a band consists of primarily guys except for one token girl, but the reverse of that is fairly rare. This fact alone makes the Nashville garage punks that make up Heavy Cream a novelty. However, what elevates the group above novelty status is its catchy melodies, expertly fuzzy guitars and intensely energetic live show. The four-piece formed in 1997 but broke up almost immediately after inception, only to come back together in 2009. Since then, Heavy Cream has found a fan base impressed with the band's DIY aesthetic.
