Seattle-based outfit Tacocat is a pop punk band that uses garage rock riffs and bubblegum pop hooks to craft its tunes. Composed of Emily Nokes, Eric Randull, Bre McKenna and Lelah Maupin, the band was founded in 2007 with a distinct 1990s revitalist, riot grrrl aesthetic that was eventually harnessed on its debut album, Shame Spiral, in 2010. Tacocat released its sophomore effort, NVM, in 2014.
