Dallas, Texas band Jonathan Tyler & the Northern Lights is the project of lead singer/songwriter and namesake of the band. Tyler brings his obsessive love for Southern rock and folk favorites to the songwriting unique to he and his band. The group has opened for such memorable acts as Lynyrd Skynyrd, Kid Rock and ZZ Top. The band's music may also be heard in the title sequence to the HBO series Boardwalk Empire.
