Pete Morton is a folk singer/songwriter from Leicester, England who was declared by Britain's fRoots magazine as being "amongst the best that the British roots scene has produced in living memory." After spending a substantial amount of time with his acoustic guitar, learning some of the great protest songs of the 1960s, Morton began putting on street performances and playing at local folk clubs to a considerable amount of praise from listeners and critics who happened to catch his show. Following a series of successful tours, it wasn't long before Morton became known as one of the best folk performers on the scene today.
