Luke Abbot is an English electronic musician who makes a methodically produced style of music. He released his debut LP in 2006 and though Abbott hasn't received a lot of commercial attention, his well-constructed tunes have found a fan base with connoisseurs of independent electronic music. Driven by tonal melodies, as opposed to beats, Abbot is able to create lush songs that aren't necessarily well-suited for dancing to. By blending various elements of vintage electro with traces of downtempo and electronica, Abbott has a characteristic sound that fits well within today's ever-evolving electronic music scene.
