Black Drawing Chalks is a Brazilian alternative rock band that was formed in 2005. The group's characteristic style of guitar-driven rock has found a sizable fan base in South America, and as the group continues to tour around the world, its following will probably only continue to grow. After spending its formative years touring its home country, Black Drawing Chalks managed to hunker down in a studio to record its 2008 debut LP, Big Deal. The album helped establish the group as a band that plays testosterone-infused rock music with vocals in English that incorporates various subtle elements from different genres into its unique sound.
