Los Angeles band The Shrine is what some might call a "skate punk" band, if only because the band does in fact skateboard. More than just skating, the band embodies LA punk culture young and old, incorporating classic, rock and roll-style playing with more straight-ahead punk aesthetics. Playing mostly in and around Los Angeles, The Shrine has built a loyal following of LA skate punks, hungry for future 7" releases, and The Shrine's unique merchandise.
