Florrie is the stage name for Florence Arnold, and electropop singer/songwriter from Bristol, England who actually began her career in music as a drummer playing in local bands as a teenager. As a matter of fact, it was the youngster's prowess for percussion that opened the door for her to collaborate professionally with bands such as the successful Kent-based group Xenomania, among others. However, it wasn't long before Florrie would release her own solo debut EP aptly titled "Introduction" in 2010, which caused a sudden shift in the young musician's reputation from a particularly skilled drummer to that of a pop chanteuse par excellence almost overnight. Since then, Florrie has been coming to terms with her new-found success and looks forward to releasing more of her solo work in 2011.
