Luka Bloom

Luka Bloom is an Celtic folk singer/songwriter from Newbridge, Ireland. Bloom’s unique guitar strumming, which he adopted after tendinitis forced him away from his previous finger-picking style, has helped distinguish him apart from the throngs of other modern Celtic musicians. Bloom released his debut album, Treaty Stone, in 1978 and since then he has kept a fairly busy touring schedule, primarily throughout Europe.
