Black Math Horseman is an American experimental and post-metal band from Los Angeles, California. The band was formed in 2007 and is composed of Sera Timms (vocals, bass), Bryan Tulao (guitar), Ian Barry (guitar), and Sasha Popovic (drums). Their music is known for its heavy, atmospheric sound, with elements of doom metal, post-rock, and shoegaze. The band's debut album, "Wyllt," was released in 2009 and received critical acclaim for its haunting and atmospheric soundscapes. The album was followed by "Origins" in 2010 and "Deerslayer" in 2011.
