One Day International

One Day International is an Irish rock band that formed in 2007. Unlike other bands in the Dublin live circuit, they chose to focus on developing their music in a studio atmosphere. They began working on their debut album almost immediately after forming and gained recognition when vocalist and songwriter Matt Lunson had a track recorded by The Frames for an Oxfam charity record. In 2007, the band released a self-titled EP to preview what could be expected from their upcoming tour, as they finished recording their album, Blackbird, which was released in late 2008. The band went on tour to support the album, and they continue to create and perform their music.
