Since its debut in 1996, Lord of the Dance has wowed audiences all over the globe with its modern staging of traditional Irish dance. The large-scale spectacular was created for arena performances by Irish-American dancer Michael Flatley. Flatley continues his role as director and producer of the stage show to this day, with multiple troupes performing the stage show on several continents. A visually spectacular feat of the traditional dance form, Lord of the Dance is famed for its intricate footwork, celebrated music and stage flair.
