Maldita Nerea

This Spanish rock group got its start in 2003, breaking out to mainstream visibility in 2007. Based out of Salamanca, Maldita Nerea has won a place with audiences for its cool, funky rock-pop sound. They rose to popular acclaim with their hit album El Secreto de las Tortugas, whose title track was a hit throughout Spain. Powered by its frontman Jorge Ruiz, the four-piece rock band has begun touring in recent years, bringing its unique, textured and smooth sound to venues all around Spain.
