Big Bill Morganfield is an American blues singer and songwriter. He is the son of the legendary bluesman Muddy Waters and has been performing and recording since the mid-1990s. His music is a mix of traditional blues, soul, and funk, and he has released seven studio albums to date. His debut album, Rise Up, was released in 1995 and featured a mix of original songs and covers of his father's songs. His follow-up album, Rollin' with the Blues, was released in 1998 and featured a mix of original songs and covers of classic blues songs. His third album, Blues in My Blood, was released in 2001 and featured a mix of original songs and covers of classic blues songs. His fourth album, Mud Morganfield, was released in 2006 and featured a mix of original songs and covers of classic blues songs. His fifth album, Born Lover, was released in 2009 and featured a mix of original songs and covers of classic blues songs. His sixth album, Still Gonna Be a Thrill, was released in 2012 and featured a mix of original songs and covers of classic blues songs.
