Big Daddy Wilson is a blues musician and singer/songwriter from Edenton, North Carolina, who discovered blues while stationed in Germany. The music inspired him to turn his poems into songs, and he was soon jamming and lending his warm voice to stages along the blues club circuit. Wilson began touring as a duo with Doc Fozz, solidifying a sound before entering the studio to record a record titled My Day Will Come, which was released in 2004. Later the same year he dropped another album, Get On Your Knees and Pray, as Big Daddy Wilson & the Mississippi Grave Diggers. As he continued to release music in collaboration with other musicians, he eventually began to issue music under his own name, starting with 2009's Love Is the Key.
