Named after a combination of the band members’ favorite film, The Squid and the Whale and its director Noah Baumbach, this British Indie folk band entered the music scene in 2006. Its debut album Peaceful, the World Lays Me Down released in 2008 and introduced the world to its fusion of punk and folk.
