The Buffalo Bisons is a minor league baseball team based out of Buffalo, New York that competes in the International League's North Division. Founded in 1979, the Bisons have acted as a Triple-A affiliate team to the Cleveland Indians, New York Mets and the Toronto Blue Jays. Having won its first of several league titles in 1993, the team has proven itself as more than just a team that produces talented players who go on to have successful careers in the big leagues.
