Carolina Mudcats

The Carolina Mudcats is a minor league baseball team based out of Zebulon, North Carolina that plays in the Carolina League's Southern Division. Founded in 1978, the team has acted as a Class A affiliate to a number of MLB teams, including the Milwaukee Brewers, Cleveland Indians, the Toronto Blue Jays and the Montreal Expos. Winning its first of several division titles in 1978, the team has demonstrated itself as more than just a breeding ground for talented players who go on to have successful careers in the big leagues.
