Charlyne Yi is an actress, musician, comedian and writer from Los Angeles whose live performances are known to include everything from magic to audience participation-based games. During one of her more notable sets, she shaved her head while singing Sinead O'Connor's hit single, "Nothing Compares 2 U." After developing a reputation on the Southern California comedy club circuit, she went on to perform at high-profile events such as New York Comedy Festival and HBO's United States Comedy Arts Festival during the mid-2000s.
