Portland-based musician Nick Jaina has been inspired by some of pop and rock music's most memorable singer/songwriters, such as Paul Simon, Tom Waits and John Lennon. As a member of Binary Dolls, he plays guitar and sings, performing more rock oriented songs than are typical of his solo material. On his own, Jaina pulls from tastefully-arranged indie folk and vintage singer/songwriter fare, utilizing an impressive number of accompanying musicians from Portland's diverse music scene to help him, both live and in the studio.
