American TV host, comedian and writer Conan O'Brien was born and raised in Brookline, MA. The Harvard-graduate moved to LA after graduating to start his career as a writer. He worked on shows like Not Necessarily the News and The Wilton North Report, before moving on to Saturday Night Life, writing sketches that were performed by big-name artists. He was hired to work on The Simpsons, an opportunity that helped revive his career. In 1993, he was chosen to be the new host of Late Night but his debut did not go as planned. Despite universal panning by critics and audience alike, the show managed to steadily gain success under O'Brien and soon became a TV screen-staple. His association with Late Show continued for 16 years, post which he signed-on as a host of The Tonight Show. After a one-year stint there, he proceeded to announce his own talk show, Conan, aired on the cable station TBS. In addition to his work as a TV host, O'Brien has also produced podcasts, TV shows and worked as a voice over artist.
