Dr. Acula

Formed in 2006 Dr. Acula is a deathcore band from Long Island known for sampling clips from movies and television shows in their songs. After releasing its debut album S.L.O.B. (Sliver-Lipped Operator of Bullshit) in 2007, the band captured the attention of Uprising Records and subsequently signed with the label. The following year the band dropped its first major label release, Below Me, but received mixed reviews. Before entering the studio again, Dr. Acula underwent a severe lineup change that saw the departure and replacement of half of its six members. Dr. Acula released its fifth studio album and second release with Victory Records titled Nation, in 2012.
