Eliseo Robles, renowned for his distinctive contributions to Norteño music, emerged as a pivotal figure alongside the iconic Ramón Ayala, intertwining with the Ayala musical legacy early in his career. Initially part of Los Satelites De Fidencio Ayala, Robles's journey took a significant turn when he joined Los Bravos Del Norte in 1974 as the lead singer and Bajo Sexto player, filling the void left by Tony Sauceda. His tenure with Los Bravos Del Norte was marked by numerous hits that achieved Gold status, earning him the moniker "The Golden Voice." Despite a successful period, he parted ways with the group in the late '80s amidst rumors of ego clashes, though details remain speculative. Nevertheless, Robles's relationship with Ramón Ayala has appeared amicable over the years. Venturing solo, he founded Los Barbaros Del Norte, continuing to leave an indelible mark on Norteño music beyond his time with Los Bravos Del Norte.
