The Iowa Cubs is a Triple-A baseball team based out of Des Moines, Iowa that plays in the Pacific Coast League. Founded in 1969, the team is the minor league affiliate of the Chicago Cubs and has served as a starting off point for several players who've gone on to have illustrious careers in the majors.
