Los Tigres del Norte

Los Tigres del Norte is a Norteño band based out of San Jose, California. Originally founded in 1968 by chief songwriter Jorge Hernández, who enlisted some of his brothers and cousins for his musical endeavors, Los Tigres del Norte developed a distinctive style that typically features an accordion as lead instrument. Having since gone on to win multiple Latin Grammy Awards and sell in excess of 32 million records, the group is widely considered to be one of the most successful Norteño bands ever.
