The Louisville Bats is a minor league baseball team based out of Louisville, Kentucky that acts as the Triple-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds. Formed in 1966, the team competes in the International League and plays its games at Louisville Slugger Field. Having won its first league title in 1984 and its first division title in 2003, the team has a proven track record of producing players that go on to have respectable careers in the majors.
