Joaquin Sabina is a Spanish singer songwriter and poet from Ubeda who was born in February 1949. Like Joan Manuel Serrat, he also had to spend one year in exile in London during the Franco Regime. His songs are poems with music, and the lyrics complex and moving. His song "Contigo" was one of his greatest hits.
